yesterday went to yx's house for the closing ceremony...my bloody job made me missed the openning, there is no way to ask me to miss closing again. but...sadly, closing ceremony was not as good. the human pyramid was cool, especialy when they form the logo...but the endless singing was not my cup of tea. anyway...what i wanna c is actualy the moment the Olympic flame slowly gone. i cant help to have tears in my eyes every time i c that. the flame was so beautiful, full of power and spirits, lively and holy. it burns for all these days of honor, now came to sleep again, waiting for another 4years. may the flame be proud of my homeland, brought such a great game to the world~.XD

 

after whisper our prayer to the Olympic flame, now let's turn our eyes to the frozen north. ----Northerend. i never felt that frozen land was this close to me until i watched the actual openning cinematic.[watch high res here: http://www.wow-europe.com/wrath/intro.xml ]

 

the elements which made this video this great are, the voice, and music. voice of a king and a father, slowly bring out the huge contrast of what Arthas was, and what he is now. thumbs up for the effect!! but for a MMORPG, none of the races are appeared in the video, players cant c any elements of their own chara inside the scene, might be a bit disappointed. still the video was great, but we desire for MORE! hahaha...[BTW i like the soundtrack a lot..anyone gimme a web to dl?= =)  

 

well, there is someone always chanting"iwannaplaywarhammer,iwannaplaywarhammer.."in my ears...my korean colleague's husband also cancelled his 4years account of wow preparing for warhammer...i guess i shld pay a bit attention to it= =. the new trailor of warhammer online is really cool. [watch high res here: http://mythicmktg.fileburst.com/war/us/home/flash/WAR_cinematic_08.html]  nice fight among all races, which wow didn't made for us..-v-...since i dunno anything abt warhammer's world settings n history, i cant say much. beautiful CG~~but i prefer the way wow express each race in diff colour mood and cultural background~.
